Alexis Manoa enters her second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Nicholls women's soccer team.

A native of Strongsville, Ohio, Manoa was a four-year member of the varsity soccer team at Strongsville High School, playing on the 2011 state championship team and a 2013 All-American. Her club team -- Cleveland United -- won multiple State Championships, a Regional Championship, and a National Championship. She went on to play for Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio, where she holds career records in goals, assists, points, and games played/started, helping lead the Falcons to their two first ever NCAA Tournament appearances.

Manoa was named Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2014 and 2017, as well as Freshman of the Year in 2014. She earned four first-team All-Conference awards and one first-team All-Atlantic Region honor. In addition, Manoa was named Academic All-Ohio and, in 2018, she was nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award by NDC.

Manoa graduated from Notre Dame College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and Communication with a minor in Media Writing. She continues to pursue her Master's Degree in Higher Education at Nicholls.
