Kelsey Morrison

Kelsey Morrison joined the Nicholls women’s soccer coaching staff in January 2021 as the program's assistant coach.

Previously, Morrison served a two year stint at the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pa., where she initially worked as an assistant coach before taking over as the associate head coach.
 
At Valley Forge, Morrison helped the program snap statistical records in both regular-season win percentage and goals-scored percentages in during the 2018 season. During her time with the Patriots, she coached four student-athletes who secured honors on the ACAA All-Conference first team, including a freshman in 2018. Additionally, Morrison acted in an administrative role within the department where she handled scheduling, game day management, game contracts and SAAC advisor responsibilities.
 
Morrison also had spent her time coaching at the Phoenixville Soccer Club in 2020 in addition to working as a private instructor in Northeast Pennsylvania.
 
A native of Maryland, Morrison competed for four seasons at the University of Valley Forge (Pa.) where she received a number of accolades, including first team all-conference honors and a league nomination for NCAA Woman of the Year. Currently, she maintains the career goal-scoring record for the program.
 
Across a two-year span from 2017-19, Morrison was a chosen member of Division III National SAAC, where she served as part of the NCAA diversity and inclusion working group that saw legislation passed at the Division III level.
 
Morrison received a Bachelor of Social Work along with a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of Valley Forge.
