2012 (Freshman): Played in 11 matches on the year earning one start in 18 sets played... Finished the year with 15 kills, nine digs, two total blocks and an ace in her inaugural season... Accumulated 17 points during the season... Had five kills against Oral Roberts Oct. 30... Had three kills against UNO and Sam Houston State... Earned three digs against UNO... Took 16 swings against the Privateers with ten against Oral Roberts. 

Prior to Nicholls:

At Terrebonne High School: Was a four-time first team District 5-5A selection as a Tiger, earning district MVP honors as a sophomore and senior, while being the team MVP as a junior... As a senior, was named District 5-1 co-MVP and the Houma Courier/Daily Comet all-region first team and MVP... Led the Tigers to the state quarterfinals with a 35-11 record after amassing over 800 kills, 100 blocks, 300 digs and 189 assists, winning the district championship all four years, making it as far as state quarterfinals twice and semifinals in 2009... Was on the homecoming court and a member of the student council.

Personal: Full name is Brooke Alexandra Fonseca, born January 18 in Houma, La... Parents are Brian and Mary Fonseca... Has one older sister, Mary Fonseca Abbott who played volleyball at the University of Montevallo.
