Former Nicholls State University volleyball standout Enjoli "Slim" Ford returned to the Colonels as a graduate assistant coach in 2011 and now serves the program as a volunteer assistant coach.
Ford, who earned her bachelor's degree from Nicholls in 2009, played in 105 career matches for the Colonels over four seasons from 2005 through 2008. The New Orleans native spent her career alternating between outside hitter, libero and outside hitter.
Ford racked up 1,305 career digs, including a 500 dig campaign in her 2007 junior season that saw her average 5.05 digs/game. As a sophomore in 2006, she ranked tenth in the Southland Conference with a 3.98 dig/set average.Â
Ford joined the Colonels in 2005, serving as an outside hitter during her freshman campaign before moving into a defensive specialist/libero role for the rest of her career. She recorded 60 kills, the third-best total on the team. Ford finished her career with 90 kills over four seasons.
