Kristin Buter enters her first season as a volunteer assistant for the Nicholls women's volleyball team.
Buter joins the program after a stellar four-year career at St. Francis (Pa.) where she holds 26 different individual and career school records as a member of the Red Flash.
A starter for all four years, Buter was a two-time all-Northeast Conference honoree and was an all-tournament selection during her senior year at the St. Francis tournament.
With coaching experience at the middle school and high school level, Buter is still active in the game and continues to coach at the club level in her hometown of Bowie, Md.
Buter graduated from St. Francis in 2009 and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Marine and Environmental Biology.
