2021 Season (Senior): Earned second-team honors for All-Southland, All-Louisiana, and Southland All-Academic... played in all 28 matches, appearing in 98 sets... led the team with 310 kills and 3.2 per set, hitting .195... had double figures in kills in 15 matches, closing out the season with four straight... had 20 or more kills twice, including matching her career-high of 24 in win over Northwestern St. (10/16)... finished with 29 aces, averaging 0.3 per set... ranked fifth in the Southland in kills and seventh in aces... totaled 201 digs (2.1) and 29 blocks... posted double-doubles in kills/digs.

2019 Season (Sophomore): One of just seven players to see action in all 27 matches, making 15 starts ... one of just six players to appear in 100 sets or greater ... paced the team in total kills (296), kills per set (2.96) and service aces (34) ... within the league, ranked eighth in total kills and ninth in kills per set as well as sixth in total service aces ... posted the Red & Gray's single-game season-high for kills, recording 24 against Bethune-Cookman (9/20) ... also secured seven double-doubles on the year... had a career-high six aces against UIW (10/12).

2018 Season (Freshman): Appeared in 40 sets over 17 matches, making five starts at outside hitter … totaled 59 kills, 20 digs, 10 blocks, one assist and one ace … breakout performance at UNO (Sept. 25) with 14 kills … tallied 11 kills and season-high 10 digs for first career double-double at McNeese (Oct. 6).

High School/Prep: Led the Terriers to their first-ever state championship in 2017 as she was named the most outstanding player in the state final game … a four-time All-District First Team and three-time All-State and All-Region First Team honoree … capped her senior season by being awarded District 8-III Offensive MVP and Division III Most Outstanding Player.

Personal: Born Emily Catherine Gauthreaux on Oct. 13, 1999 … daughter of Scott & Michelle Gauthreaux … father played basketball at Nicholls from 1987-91 … has one sister -- Gabby, who also attends Nicholls … communicative disorders major.
