2018 Season (Junior): Saw action at running back in six games, totaling 264 yards rushing and a touchdown on 54 carries... averaged 4.9 yards per carry... had a season-high 73 yards on 14 carries in win over Sam Houston State... rushed seven times for 49 yards against Lamar and scored on a 36-yard reception... totaled 49 yards on 10 carries at Northwestern State... had a kick return against UIW for 14 yards.

2017 Season (Sophomore): Played in 10 games, logging six starts at running back... named All-Southland Second Team after finishing second in SLC in rushing yards per game (76.4)... totaled 764 yards rushing on 147 carries, averaging  5.2 yards per carry... led the squad with eight rushing touchdowns... had three 100-yd games including two in conference... rushed for 160 yards and a TD on 11 carries in first half at Stephen F. Austin... had 152 yards on the ground and two touchdowns at Lamar... recorded his first career 100-yard game against Prairie View, totaling 113 yards and two touchdowns... longest rush came on a 38-yard touchdown at SFA... caught six passes for 35 yards, averaging 5.8 yards per catch... had 799 all-purpose yards. 

2016 Season (Freshman): Played in 10 games as a true freshman... rushed 49 times for 265 yards and one touchdown... averaged 5.4 yards per carry... had 102 yards on six carries against Lamar, highlighted by a 78-yard rush... scored his first career TD at UCA... total 128 all-purpose yards vs. Southeastern in finale, rushing 15 times for 97 yards and had a reception for 31 yards... caught five passes for 57 yards on the season.

At East Ascension: Played quarterback for the Spartans… named First-Team All-District 5-5A as an athlete in 2015…  was team’s offensive MVP as a senior… received Sportsline Player of the Week as a junior after accounting for over 200 yards of offense and six touchdowns in playoff win over Sulphur… played in the LHSCA/LFCA All-Star football game.

Personal: Born June 20, 1997 in Baton Rouge... son of Shondrae DeRouen... has an older sister, Kyrane', and a younger brother Chaz... has a son, Kaysen.
