Annual Lardarius Webb Football Camp Set for June 20 at Nicholls

THIBODAUX, La. – Current Baltimore Ravens cornerback and former Nicholls State University great, Lardarius Webb, will team up with the Sports Medicine Center of Thibodaux Regional and Firehouse Subs to host his annual youth camp at John L. Guidry Stadium on Sat., June 20.

The camp will begin at 9 a.m. and last until noon. All kids ages 7-17 are welcome to attend. Free registration is available here.

"We are very excited about Webb's free camp," said Brandon Ruttley, Associate A.D. for External Affairs. "Lardarius is big on giving back to the community and we are very blessed to be able to assist him with his off-the-field initiatives. Everyone knows how great he is on the field, but they may not know that he donates so much time giving back to the community."

Webb, who is entering his seventh year with the Ravens, holds the annual free camp as part of the Lardarius Webb Foundation. The primary purpose of his foundation is to keep young men and women off the streets and out of trouble by giving them the knowledge, confidence and support to achieve any positive goals they set. Webb's most recent charitable effort was his annual softball game in Baltimore, which sold around 10,000 tickets.

"Along with our football team and several NFL athletes, this year our largest sponsor, The Sports Medicine Center of Thibodaux Regional, will once again be helping us out with the camp," Ruttley said. "We know it will max out early so I would encourage everyone to register as soon as possible."

In addition to Thibodaux Regional's assistance, Firehouse Subs will provide food for the camp. For more information or to get involved with Webb's foundation, please visit here
