Day 2 PhotosPATTERSON, La. – Heavy rain put an end to the final round of the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate on Tuesday, resulting in Nicholls State University freshman
Jack Lee earning his first individual title after posting the best score after 18 completed holes.
Lee was still atop the leaderboard at 2-under after playing nine holes on Tuesday, but the rain started in and play was suspended. With no break in the rain on the radar in sight, the final round was canceled and Monday's scores would determine the winners.
Lee and Central Arkansas' Luis Obiols shared the individual honor after shooting 3-under 69 on Monday. Along with earning his first title in just his fifth career tournament, Lee claimed his fourth top 10 finish.
ULM was named team championship after firing a 284. Central Arkansas took second at 288, and Nicholls earned third place for the second straight Atchafalaya Intercollegiate with a 291.
The Colonels are back in action on Feb. 29 in the Colin Montgomerie Invitational hosted by Houston Baptist.
