THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's golf team is set to start its fall slate in the Argent Financial Classic, hosted by Louisiana Tech at the Squire Creek Country Club, starting on Sunday, Sept. 7.
Along with Nicholls, a total of 17 teams will take on the 7,105-yards, par 72 course. Sunday's action will start at 7:30 a.m. with the Colonels scheduled to tee off at 11:50 a.m.
Competing for Nicholls are
Jack Moro,
Chase Pochylko, Róbert Leó Arnórsson,
James Bould, and
Kyle Traub. Arnorsson joins the squad this year after beginning his career at Manhattan College. In last year's event,
Jack Moro led the team with a 10-over 226 for the tournament, highlighted by an even 72 in the second round.
