Final Stats GRAMBLING, La. – The Nicholls State University soccer team secured its first road win in a convincing fashion as the Colonels defeated Grambling, 10-0, on Sunday afternoon.
 
Kristy Helmers and Haylee Atwell led the scoring barrage with two goals each. Also finding the net for the Colonels (3-1) were Emily Werenskiold, Jess Coates, Jessica Shelby, Francesca Curteis, Kirstie Champagne and Mie Elvestad.
 
Jade Gallaher and Roosa Hurmerinta each played a half at goalkeeper to log the Colonels' second clean sheet of the early season.
