THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University men's basketball squad rides a three-game winning streak into the finale of three-game home stretch Tuesday against Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. Tipoff from Stopher Gymnasium is set for 7 p.m.
The Colonels are 11-8 and 5-1 in the Southland Conference, marking their best start through six games since the 2000-01 season. Senior guard
Roddy Peters, coming off his fourth straight appearance with 20-plus points, was named the SLC Player of the Week Monday. The Washington D.C. native has been doing his damage from off the bench in a sixth man role.
