NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Nicholls State University women's soccer program (3-10-1, 0-7-0 Southland) dropped Friday evening's conference match at Stephen F. Austin (6-8-0, 3-4-0 Southland), falling to the Ladyjacks by a final 6-0 mark at the SFA Soccer Field in Nacogdoches, Texas.

KEY STORYLINES & STATISTICS
-- The SFA offense set the tone early in match, jumping out to a one-score advantage in the 16' before tacking on insurance goals at the 25th and 40th minutes. For the night, the Ladyjacks managed three goals in both halves of action on 20 total shots, nine of which came on goal.
-- Offensively, the Red & Gray posted a highly-efficient performance as a majority of their total shots (5) came on goal (3). Junior Cato Hom led the way with two shots -- one on goal -- while the senior duo of Blaire Laiche & Kristy Helmers each picked up one shot-on-goal apiece.
-- Senior Roosa Hurmerinta served as the Colonels goalkeeper throughout the contest, allowing six total scores -- one a penalty kick -- while securing three saves across 90 minutes of action.

UP NEXT
With the SFA match concluded, the Red & Gray turn attention to their final road contest of the season, traveling to Sam Houston State on Sunday, Oct. 20 for a battle against the Bearkats, kickoff set for 1 p.m.
