COVINGTON, La. – The Nicholls State University women's beach volleyball team made its program debut over the weekend, playing four matches in the New Orleans Invitational at the Digs Volleyball Complex in Covington.
The Colonels fell in all four contests, losing 5-0 to New Orleans, Spring Hill College, and Southern Miss, before recording their first ever victories in a 3-2 nailbiter against Huntingdon College.
