FINAL RESULTS   |   SCOREBOARD

ATHENS, Ga. –  The Nicholls State University men's golf team competed in its final event of the regular season with 36 holes in the Southern Intercollegiate, hosted the University of Georgia at the Athens Country Club.

A total of 17 teams and 85 golfers took part in the one-day tournament. Nicholls shot 314 in the opening round and followed up with a 313. Senior Baker Stevenson had the best finish, tying for 22nd at 5-over for the day after carding rounds of 74 and 75.

For the rest of the lineup, Connor Campbell (80-79) and Ben Baker (82-77) finished at 159, and were followed by Jack Lee (78-83--161) and Warut Wongrungroj (84-82--166).

South Carolina won the intercollegiate with a 562 and had three of the top four finishers. Will Miles took medalist honors with an 8-under 136.

Nicholls will play in the Southland Conference Championships at the Stonebridge Ranch Golf Club in McKinney, Texas, starting Monday, April 22-24.
