THIBODAUX, La. -- Thursday morning, Nicholls State University head baseball coach Seth Thibodeaux announced the Colonels will host a pair of high-profile fall exhibition matchups, squaring off against in-state rivals Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday, Oct. 19 and LSU on Sunday, Nov. 3. The Red & Gray last battled LSU earlier this March in Baton Rouge, pushing the nationally-ranked Tigers into extra innings before falling by an eventual 5-4 mark; meanwhile, Nicholls will play host to the Warhawks for the first time since the 2015 season, where the Colonels outpaced ULM in a 16-6 victory.
