THIBODAUX, La. -- Following a week-long break after back-to-back meets to open the season, the Nicholls State University cross country program returns to action with the team's only home event of the year -- The 2nd Annual Nicholls XC Invitational, hosting four in-state opponents the morning of Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Nicholls Farm in Thibodaux, La. In addition to the university competition, the Red & Gray's home course will also serve as the site for the 43rd Annual Dr. Richard Morvant Invitational, showcasing 19 regional high school programs from around south Louisiana.

Olari Livingston all placed inside the the field's top five; for the women, junior
Eleana Callejas powered the group behind her second-place run while sophomore
