FRISCO, Texas -- Following record-breaking performances this past weekend at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, the league office announced Nicholls State University sophomores Omo Oboh and Hailey Alcorn as members of the All-SLC third team, a first for both student-athletes.

Despite competing in the event for just the fourth time ever, Oboh snapped her own school record behind a 8.57 mark in the 60m Hurdles, capturing a third-place podium finish in the process. Just minutes later, Alcorn secured a program mark as well, notching a 55.20 time in the 400m Dash along with her own third-place medal in the event.

With the Southland Conference Indoor Championships wrapped up, the track & field program shifts focus to the outdoor season with the first meet set for Saturday, Mar. 14 at the McNeese Cowboy Relays.
