THIBODAUX, La. -- Early Wednesday morning, ESPN released a 40 Under 40 list for collegiate men's basketball coaches, ranking Nicholls State University head men's basketball coach Austin Claunch as No. 24 of the 40 honorees. The Houston native wrapped up his second season at the helm this past March, guiding the Colonels to unprecedented success behind a second-place finish in the final Southland rankings -- upending the preseason 11th-place projection -- while securing 20-plus victories for just the fourth time in program history.

Notably, Claunch serves as the lone representative from the Southland and ranks as the third youngest of the 40 selectees. For more details, check out the full ESPN article right HERE.
