KEY STORYLINES & STATISTICS
vs. HBU (L 0-3) -- Thursday, Oct. 14
-- The visiting Huskies scored a pair of first-half goals to take control and added one in the final minute to improve to 4-3-2 in Southland play. 
-- The Colonels were outshot, 18-6, with one shot on goal. Koryn Barrett was credited with the lone shot on goal.
-- Reagan Carter and Valerie Vargas Leon each played at half as goalkeeper. Carter allowed two and had four saves while Vargas Leon surrendered one and stopped one. 
-- HBU's goals were scored by Caroline Harvard (8'), Mia Salas (24') and Xya Balderas ('90).

at ULM (L 0-3) -- Sunday, Oct. 17
-- The Warhawks used the same formula as HBU to take down the Colonels, scoring twice in the opening half to notch their 10th win of the season (10-3-1).
-- Carter spent all 90 minutes as the goalkeeper, earning three saves in the loss.
-- ULM fired off 25 shots to the Colonels' 4. Ester Hardardottir had two shot for the Red and Gray with one on goal.
-- Courtney Marten (17'), Madi Garza (39') and Louise Atkinson (52') each scored a goal for ULM.

UP NEXT
The Colonels will play their final home matches of the 2021 campaign, hosting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Friday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.) and UIW (Sunday, 1 p.m.).
