LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Nicholls State University women's soccer program (0-11-0, 0-7-0 SLC) dropped a 3-0 contest to the Rajun' Cajuns of Louisiana (10-7-1, 6-4-1 Sun Belt) on Thursday evening at the Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Complex in Lafayette, La.

KEY STORYLINES & STATISTICS
-- The struggles on the offensive end continue to weigh down the Colonels, as the another strong first half -- four shots to Louisiana's six -- gave way to a rough second period for the Red & Gray -- three shots to the Ragin' Cajuns' 14. Sophomore Alicia Carlos posted the team's top overall performance, notching the only two shots-on-goal for the match.
-- In the net, freshman Reagan Carter went a full 90 minutes for the Colonels, collecting five saves, including a crucial pair to close out a scoreless opening half, while giving up the trio of goals.
 
UP NEXT
The Red & Gray receive a week off before shifting focus to their next conference road contest, traveling to Abilene Christian on Friday, Mar. 26 for a battle against the Wildcats, kickoff set for 7 p.m.
