THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University men's tennis team lost its match against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Colonel Tennis Complex.
Omar Morsy fell short in his first set 6-3, but came back to win the second 6-2. In the tiebreaker match for his game, he came up victorious, 10-8.
Antoine Martin-Thiriat also lost his first set, 6-2, but won the second, 6-4. He fell short, 10-7, in the tiebreaker match.Â
In doubles play, Griffin Babineaux and Ricardo Machado were defeated 6-2 and Axel Cronje and Antonio Sasso lost by two, 6-4.
The men's record fell to 4-10, 0-3 SLC and their next match is Tuesday, April 13, at 11 a.m. in the Colonel Tennis Complex, against Loyola New Orleans.
