THIBODAUX, La. -- Due to COVID-19 concerns with Prairie View A&M, the Nicholls State University baseball program has officially canceled Wednesday evening's midweek contest against the Panthers, originally scheduled as a 6:30 p.m. first pitch at Ray E. Didier Field.
 
ON DECK
With the midweek matchup with Prairie View A&M eliminated, the Red & Gray shift focus to a major rivalry clash against league leader Southeastern Louisiana later this weekend, kicking off the four-game set with three contests across Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 up in Hammond, La. before returning to Didier Field back in Thibodaux for the series finale on Sunday, May 9.
