LAFAYETTE, La. -- Late Tuesday morning, the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) officially announced the 2020-21 Men's Basketball All-Louisiana teams, tabbing Nicholls State University senior Ty Gordon as a second-team selection on the prestigious honor roll.

The LSWA All-Louisiana teams are nominated and voted upon by the states's sports information directors along with select media personnel.

Despite officially joining the active roster just prior to season tipoff following a transfer from Troy, Gordon immediately stepped in and filled a crucial scoring role for the Colonels, pacing the squad behind a 14.6 points per game mark off a lethal three-point shooting percentage (.337, 63-of-187). Additionally, the senior also set a high bar as the team's top distributor behind 93 assists, finished the year with 17 double-digit performances -- including five 20-plus showings -- led the team in total minutes (812) and earned both Southland first-team honors as well as the league's Newcomer of the Year award.
