THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University baseball team will host Tulane on Tuesday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. The action from Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field can be streamed on ESPN+.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
 
Prior to the game, there will be two ceremonial first pitches. One in remembrance of Ben Meyer followed by one to honor Frank Monica.
 
Both teams began the month with sweeps over the weekend. Nicholls (11-2) took care of Southern while only allowing five runs across the three games while Tulane (7-4) beat Yale with a 26-5 run differential.
 
Earlier this season, the Colonels fell narrowly to the Green Wave in New Orleans. Tulane scored the go ahead and insurance runs on sacrifice flies to squeak out a 3-2 victory.

The Red & Gray will host Southeastern Baptist University on Wednesday, March 6 at 3:00 and 6:30 p.m. They will also host a weekend series against Grambling on March 8-10.
