JACKSON, Miss. - Following its first league win of the season, the Nicholls State University men's tennis team kept the momentum going with a 4-0 victory at Jackson State on Monday afternoon.
With Jackson State a player short in the lineup, Nicholls (8-6) needed to win just one match in doubles for the point and it came via a 6-1 victory by
Harry Collins and
Kotaro Matsumura on Court 2.
With a 2-0 advantage after a forfeit win at No. 6,
Omar Morsy made quick work at No. 1 with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
Quentin Lamothe followed with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 to clinch the match.Â
