BRYAN, Texas --- The Nicholls State University men's and women's cross-country teams concluded the regular season by finishing 31st in the 2025 Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M on Friday morning.
The Men's unit placed 31st out of 35 teams while the women's squad finished 31st out of 38 teams.
The men's 8K race featured 343 competitors as the Colonels had six runners finished within the top 300. The men's unit was led by
Brady Sins who placed 231st after clocking a time of 26:11.5.
Mason Heffernan (26:41.6) was the second Colonel to finish as he claimed 259th place.
Michael Keller (27:29.7) and Alex Harline (27:37.2) finished 285th and 286th while
Noah Richard (27:50.1) and
Brison Legnon (27:51.5) placed 291st and 292nd.
The women's 6K race featured 336 competitors as the Colonels had
Isabelle Seijlhouwer led the unit as she clocked a time of 22:14.2 to place 140th. Next,
Gracie Daigle posted a time of 23:34.3 to place 233rd followed by
Payton Theriot (23:40.8),
Kalin Baratka (23:45.4) who placed 238th and 240th.
Kassidy Besson (24:29.5) and
Lotte Aerts (24:55.1) were the final two Colonels to finish under 25 minutes as they placed 261st and 270th respectively.
