THIBODAUX, La. – Led by fourth year head coach Jonea Rima, the Nicholls State University beach volleyball team will begin the 2026 season by hosting William Carey in a double header on Saturday, Feb. 21. The action from Thibodaux Regional Sports Complex will begin at 11 a.m.
 
Nicholls will be opening the season at home for the first time in program history. The Colonels are 2-0 all time against William Carey as they beat the Crusaders 5-0 and 4-1 in a double header in 2024.
