THIBODAUX, La. – After beginning the season with a pair of home victories, the Nicholls State University beach volleyball team will travel to Lake Charles to compete in the Cowgirl Beach Bash hosted by McNeese on Feb. 27-28.
Nicholls (2-0) will open the weekend with games against Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday. The Colonels will face Mary Hardin-Baylor and Sam Houston on Saturday.
Last weekend the Colonels opened the season with a pair of wins over William Carey. The Red & Gray dropped the top seeded flights in both games. The parings of
