THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University head football coach
Tommy Rybacki announced on National Signing Day the addition of 44 student-athletes for the upcoming 2026 season.
Entering his second year at the helm, Rybacki secured 16 recruits in the December signing period before adding 28 over the next few weeks. Of the 44 in the class, 18 are mid-year signees while five of the high school recruits have already enrolled.
The total class features nine offensive lineman, three quarterbacks, four tight ends, a running back, and five wide receivers. On the defensive side, there are six linemen, five linebackers, five safeties, and six cornerbacks.
The class has 22 student-athletes from Louisiana, 14 from Mississippi, two each from Alabama, Georgia, and Texas, one from Florida and one from Canada.
