FRISCO, Texas - For the second time in her senior campaign, Nicholls State University softball pitcher Molly Yoo has been named Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Yoo posted a 2-0 record in the series win at HCU, tossing two complete games with a 0.50 ERA and seven strikeouts. She had a shutout in the 3-0 victory in the opener, allowing five hits while fanning five before following up with another complete game in the finale to secure the series, adding two strikeouts in the 12-1 win.

HCU's lone run in the second game snapped Yoo's 20-inning shutout streak against the Huskies.

The weekly award is the third for Yoo in her career.

Nicholls will be at home for six games, hosting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (April 14-15) for a midweek series before taking on Southeastern over the weekend (April 17-18).
