Colonels set to Resume Game Against Islanders in Beaumont

THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University baseball team will resume a contest from earlier this season against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in Beaumont, Texas on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

The game between the Colonels and Islanders was originally played on March 6 but was postponed due to a protest after the misapplication of the NCAA's video review. The action from Vincent-Beck Stadium will pick up in the bottom of the first inning with two down and the Colonels up 1-0.

This game is crucial for both teams as Nicholls (21-19, 13-10 SLC) is currently sitting in fourth place after sweeping Stephen F. Austin over the weekend. AMCC is 10th in the standings but three games back from getting the eighth seed which would secure the final spot in the Southland Conference Tournament.
