LAKE CHARLES, La. - Friday's softball games in the Southland Conference Tournament Lake Charles Bracket have been pushed back a day due to inclement weather, the league office announced Friday afternoon.
Saturday's updated schedule will start at 11 a.m. with Northwestern State and Stephen F. Austin playing in the elimination game. Nicholls will follow with a 2 p.m. matchup against McNeese in the winner's bracket, with the winner advancing to Sunday's championship round. Saturday's final game at 5 p.m. will pit the winner of NSU/SFA against the loser of Nicholls/McNeese.
On Sunday, the championship game is scheduled for 11 a.m. and a second game will be played at 2 p.m. if necessary.
The winner of the bracket will advance to the championship series against the Hammond Bracket's winner, starting Thursday, May 7. The three-game series will be hosted by the highest seed remaining.
