 Awards continue to pile up for Nicholls State University men's basketball player Anatoly Bose.  One day after picking up his third career all-conference honor, the senior guard/forward was named first team all-region for the second consecutive year as the National Association of Basketball Coaches named Bose to the All-District 23 First Team for the second consecutive season on Wednesday afternoon.

Bose is now eligible for the State Farm Coaches' Division I All-America teams, to be announced on Saturday, April 2, at 9:30 a.m. (EDT) at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston during the NABC Convention and NCAA Final Four.

Bose led the Colonels to their third consecutive Southland Conference Tournament appearance, and nearly led the No. 8 seed Colonels to an upset of regular season champion and No. 1 seed McNeese State by recording 25 points against the Cowboys.

Bose recorded the 49th 20 point game of his career against McNeese, his 20th of the year and his 40th in his last two seasons.
