THIBODAUX, La. – Nicholls State University right tackle Chandler Arceneaux was named to the inaugural HERO Sports FCS Sophomore All-American Team, the organization announced Thursday.
 
A native of Bourg, Louisiana, Arceneaux started all 11 games for the Colonels on the offensive line as a redshirt sophomore. He anchored the right side and helped limit the opposition to just 20 sacks on the season. The Colonel offense averaged 30.3 points and 389.6 yards, fueled by 162.9 yards rushing per contest.
 
The award is the second for Arceneaux this season as he was named First Team All-Southland. The South Terrebonne graduate is one of four starting linemen returning for the Colonels next season.
