THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University baseball team winds down its six-game homestand with contests versus Alcorn State University on Tuesday and Wednesday at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. Both games are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Taco Tuesday will be in effect for the first game with $2 tacos and $1 draft beer on tap. The concession stand will feature Weenie Wednesday for Game 2 with $1 hot dogs available.

Brady Bell, who is hitting .311 with seven doubles. Senior outfielder
Lee Clark leads the squad with 26 RBIs.
The Braves (8-22) were outscored 39-13 in three losses to Alabama State over the weekend. Nicholas Hayes-Saltare boasts a team-best .324 batting average while Hunter Wilson has driven in the most runs at 25.
The Colonels have won eight straight over Alcorn dating back to 2011.
