THIBODAUX, La. - Coming off an impressive offensive output in its home opener, the Nicholls State University women's basketball team will look for back-to-back wins as the Colonels host SUNO at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 in Stopher Gymnasium.

Nicholls lit up the scoreboard for 101 points last Monday in its win over Paul Quinn College, which was the third-highest point total in school history. It was the first time under 12th-year head coach
DoBee Plaisance that the Colonels eclipsed the century mark.
Sophomore guard
Adrian Mann scored 19 in the win and brings a team-best 11.0 points per game scoring average into the contest. Mann did not miss a shot against the Tigers as Nicholls made 56.3 percent from the field. She has scored in double figures twice this season, including a 14-point effort in the opener at Rice.
A total of five Colonels reached double figures in scoring in the home debut.
Airi Hamilton had her best game of the season with 16 points, and
Tykeria Williams knocked down a pair of 3-pointers en route to 14 points.
SUNO is 2-4 on the season and also played Paul Quinn last week, defeating the Tigers at home, 98-94. NeTanya Wilkerson scored 29 for the Lady Knights in the victory and is second on the team in scoring at 14.2 ppg. Sha'Quanta Pettis heads the SUNO offense with 16.0 ppg after three 20-point games.
UP NEXT
Nicholls will play its next three games on the road, starting next weekend in the JU Thanksgiving Classic in Jacksonville, Fla. The Colonels will take on host Jacksonville University on Friday, Nov. 29, before playing North Florida on Saturday.
