USTFCCCA Release
NEW ORLEANS – The Nicholls State University men's and women's cross country teams earned U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) team academic awards as it was announced in a release by the organization Thursday.
Schools that received the honor achieved at least a 3.0 cumulative team GPA on a 4.0 scale. The Colonels men's team finished with a 3.12 while the women concluded the 2018 season with a 3.07. The women have appeared on this list both seasons with head coach
Stefanie Slekis at the helm.

Many of those will compete at the Southland Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday and Monday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
