THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University football team is set to report for fall camp Thursday, Aug. 1, with its first practice scheduled for Friday morning.
 
The majority of practices will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the first scrimmage of the fall on Saturday, Aug. 10 is slated for 9 a.m. The camp concludes the following Saturday, Aug. 17 with Fan Day at 7 p.m.

The team will practice on the fields next to Ray E. Didier Field and would move into Guidry Stadium depending on the weather. 
 
Coming off a nine-win season and the program's second Southland Conference championship, Nicholls opens the 2019 season at Kansas State on Aug. 31. Following three games in Texas, including their conference opener at Stephen F. Austin, the Colonels return home to host Central Arkansas on Oct. 5.
