THIBODAUX, La. -- With just over three months till the first serve of the 2020 season, Nicholls State University head volleyball coach Kallie Noble locked down the first five members of her 2021 Class as part of the early national signing period on Wednesday, inking four indoor student-athletes along with one for the Colonels' burgeoning beach program.

"We are very excited to make these additions to the 2021 roster," Noble said. "This class brings a high level of talent to an experienced team and will help us continue the climb to the top of the conference."

Name: Nina Finderle

High School: Srednja skola Mate Balote
Previous School: Polk State
Position: Middle Blocker
HC Kallie Noble: "We are very excited to have Nina join our program at semester. She has such huge potential. Her size is certainly an asset, but her personality and drive supplement that. We are really looking forward to having Nina as a Colonel."

Name: Brooke Weichbrodt
Hometown: Minneapolis, Minn.
High School: Concordia Academy
Position: Setter
HC Kallie Noble: "Brooke is an energetic young lady. She is an amazing competitor who loves a challenge. She is a true quarterback on the court and one of those setters who teammates love to play with. We are excited to have her work ethic in our gym on a daily basis. She will add grit and competitiveness in every practice and match."

Name: Kadie Becnel
Hometown: Thibodaux, La.
High School: E.D. White Catholic HS
Position: Defensive Specialist/Libero
HC Kallie Noble: "Kadie is very ambitious and an intense young player. She has played for a great local high school and her reaction time and pursuit speed will help us immediately. She competes with an effortless, laid-back demeanor that makes playing look easy."

HC Kallie Noble: "Isabel is a Colorado native who trains at one the top beach clubs in her home state. She will bring a passion and intensity that is second to none. She is an explosive defender and her game and beach experience will translate well into our program."
