Cox Sports Television will re-air the 2019 Nicholls State University football team's contest against rival Northwestern State at 3:30 p.m central on Saturday, May 2.
The game was played on Oct. 12 on Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium with the Colonels defeating the Demons, 45-35. It marked the fourth consecutive win in the rivalry for Nicholls -- a first in school history.
The Colonels churned out a season-high 537 yards of total offense and 349 yards rushing. Quarterback
Chase Fourcade led the way with his first career 100-yard rushing effort, finishing with 135, and
Kendall Bussey added 102 on just eight carries.
Dontrell Taylor also had a career day in the backfield with three rushing touchdowns.
