THIBODAUX, La. -- Due to COVID-19 concerns within the Southeastern Louisiana program, the Nicholls State University women's volleyball road contest against the Lady Lions on Tuesday, Feb. 9 has been officially postponed. Additionally, the Colonels and Houston Baptist have agreed upon a make-up date for their previously-postponed match on Thursday, Feb. 11, rescheduling the contest for exactly one week later on Thursday, Feb. 18 at Stopher Gym.

Southeastern Louisiana will be unable to play in four consecutive games, including a trio of Southland matches -- at Lamar, vs. Nicholls and vs. Sam Houston -- along with a home non-conference contest with Louisiana Tech. All four matches are slated to be rescheduled for future dates.

UP NEXT
With the home and league opener against New Orleans concluded, the Colonels shift focus to a quick road trip out to in-state foe McNeese, trekking west to Lake Charles, La. for a battle against the Cowgirls on Saturday, Feb. 6.
