Saturday Night Lights returns for 25th anniversary of Manning Passing Academy

THIBODAUX, La. – The annual Saturday Night Lights event returns to the campus of Nicholls State University after a one-year hiatus, highlighting the 25th anniversary of the prestigious Manning Passing Academy.

Hosted by the Manning Family – Archie and sons Cooper, Eli, and Peyton, this year's MPA will be held on July 15-18. On the 17th, parents and fans are invited to watch the annual Saturday Night Lights passing display on Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium.

Camp coaches and counselors along with selected campers will run pass route drills on Manning Field. The night will cap off with the popular Riddell Air-It-Out passing competition featuring many of the top college quarterbacks in the country. Included in the 2019 edition were the No. 1 pick in the last two NFL drafts, Cincinnati's Joe Burrow and Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence. Current NFL quarterbacks Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, and Josh Allen are also a few of the former MPA counselors.

"This camp is more than just an opportunity for these young all-stars to refine their game," said Jonathan Terrell, Nicholls Athletics Director. "It's a chance for football fans in South Louisiana to get an up-close look at many of the biggest names in the sport."

Tickets for Saturday Night Lights are available now for $12 and $15 at the gate. To purchase tickets early, visit here or call 985-448-4790.
