THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's basketball team finalized its schedule on Thursday.

The schedule features 11 non-conference games starting with home contests against Mobile (Nov. 10) and Alabama A&M University (Nov. 13). The Colonels will travel to Birmingham, Ala. to take on UAB (Nov. 15) before returning home to host Grand Canyon on Nov. 18. Nicholls will play two games against Mississippi Valley State, one in Itta Bena (Nov. 22) and the other as part of the Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by Southern Miss where they will also battle the Eagles (Nov. 25). The Red & Gray will close out the month hosting New Mexico on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Nicholls plays three non-conference games in the month of December beginning with hosting South Alabama (Dec. 14), before crossing state lines to face Abilene Chrisitan and TCU on Dec. 19 and 21. The final game of the month will be the Colonels' Southland Conference opener against Southeastern on New Year's Eve in Thibodaux.

The rest of the Nicholls schedule is SLC games that will determine seeding for the conference tournament that will be hosted by McNeese in Lake Charles beginning on March 6.
