THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University volleyball team crosses state lines for the only time this month to battle UIW on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday, Oct. 14.
The action from San Antonio and Corpus Christi will be available to stream via ESPN+ at 6 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
NICHOLLS COURT (2-15, 0-7 SLC)
Last time out the Colonels dropped a heart breaking five set match against Lamar. In that contest the Red & Gray found offense from their youth.

Gracie Campbell registered a career-best 28 kills, while her classmates
Autumn Perry and
Addison Phares combined for 20.
Perry leads the Colonels in kills (131) and service aces (18). Junior outside hitter
Trinity Vinzant leads the team in digs (140) and has the second most kills (119).

Kendall Battistella and freshman
Berra Soyler pace the offense with 240 and 160 assists, respectively.
In the middle, sophomore
Paris Dixon leads the team in blocks with 46 followed by senior
Jhayla Bolden who has 39.
UIW COURT (9-10, 1-6 SLC)
Last week the Cardinals dropped a pair of five set matches against Texas A&M-Commerce and Northwestern State.
UIW's offense has four individuals with more than 100 kills this season. Allison Palmi leads the way with 191 followed by Risa Sena (171), Annamarie Alvarez (153), and Kyla Malone (146).
The Cardinal's attack is run by setters Natalie Kimmel and Anuhea Faitau who have 411 and 273 assists, respectively. They also lead the team in service aces with 29 and 19.
Defensively the unit is anchored by Kade Thomas who has 60 blocks followed by Alvarez with 53. Mariela Nieto leads the Cardinals in digs with 201, while Audrey Patton adds 154, Kimmel adds 151, and Malone has 132.
TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (11-8, 6-1 SLC)
The Islanders enter the weekend boasting a five-match winning streak and play UNO on Thursday before clashing with the Colonels on Saturday.
AMCC's offense is led by Kyndal Payne and Leah Stolfus who have 271 and 203 kills, respectively. Payne also anchor the defense with 31 blocks.
Kayla White leads the Islanders in digs (251) and service aces (16), while Belle Morgan runs the attack with 694 assists.
