THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's basketball team will travel to Lafayette to take on Louisiana on Saturday, Nov. 18. The action will be streamed on ESPN+.

NICHOLLS COURT (3-1)
The Colonels come into the matchup after suffering their first loss of the season to SMU (69-54).
 
Nicholls is led by two double figure scorers and multiple players that stuff the stat sheet.
 
Sophomore forward Lexi Alexander leads the team with 14.5 points per contest and hauls in 6.3 rebounds.
 
Also averaging 6.3 rebounds is freshman guard Betzalys Delgado who also adds 9.3 points and a team-best 6 assists.
 
The other double figure scorer is freshman guard Britiya Curtis who pours in 11.8 points, grabs 5.3 rebounds, and dishes 2.5 assists per game.
 
Senior guard Ashley Malone provides 9.8 points of the bench, while her classmate Kyla Hamilton averages 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
 
LOUISIANA COURT (1-2)
Louisiana comes into the weekend after falling to Kent State (64-55) in the MAC-SBC challenge.
 
The Ragin' Cajuns have two players that average double figures and only average 8 assists per game.
 
Tamera Johnson averages 14.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, while shooting .457 from the field. Brandi Williams scores 11.3 points per contest while shooting .313 from long range. Destiny Rice averages 9 points off the bench.
 
The Ragin' Cajuns have had a negative assist to turnover margin in all three games this season and they have put up less than 60 points in their two losses.
