THIBODAUX, La. - Nicholls State University tennis head coach Greg Harkins recently achieved a milestone this season, reaching 200 career victories for his coaching career. 

Over the course of his career in the Southern, Sun Belt and Southland conferences, Harkins has coached teams and individuals to the NCAA Championships. In the classroom, his teams have never dropped below a 3.0 GPA across his career.

In his seventh season at Nicholls, he is the longest tenured tennis coach in the modern era. With the end of the Spring 2023 regular season, Coach Harkins currently sits at 205 total wins.

The Nicholls men and women's tennis teams head to Corpus Christi, Texas this week for Southland Conference Tournament.
