Colonel Volleyball earns USMC/AVCA Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. –   The Nicholls State University indoor volleyball team was one of over 1,300 collegiate and high school volleyball teams to be recognized for its academic success this year as the American Volleyball Coaches Association and the United States Marine Corps announced Thursday its USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award honorees.

The award honors volleyball squads that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

The Nicholls Volleyball program has made the list for five consecutive years dating back to 2019.
