THIBODAUX, La.  – Nicholls State University head football coach Tim Rebowe along with defensive back Jordan Jackson and wide receiver David Robinson Jr. will take part in the 2023 Southland Conference Football Virtual Media Day, held Monday, July 24.  The event will air live on an ESPN+, with the broadcast running from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. CT.

The show will feature a 25-minute interview with each school's trio of head coach and two student-athletes. 

After leading the Colonels to a .500 or better record in the SLC for the seventh straight year, Coach Rebowe's 2023 squad will face one of the toughest schedules in the FCS this season. On the slate are FBS National Runner-Up TCU, Cotton Bowl champion Tulane, and four FCS playoff participants. 

Jackson was an All-SLC selection last season out of the Colonel secondary, totaling 36 tackles and eight passes defended at cornerback. Robinson hauled in the Colonels' second longest touchdown catch in 2022, scoring on a 67-yarder at Lamar. He finished the year with 10 grabs for 159 yards. 

The broadcast will be available via ESPN+ and archived video of each team's press conference and select quotes from each attendee will be made available after the conclusion of the event.
 
In addition to the press conferences, coaches will also take part in different segments with additional media. Fans can follow all things media day related on the Southland Conference Twitter, Instagram and TikTok accounts.
