THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University women's volleyball 2023 schedule features four non-conference neutral site tournaments, and nine home and away matches, respectively.
 
The Jonea Rima era will begin in Huntsville, Texas where the Colonels will compete in the Bearkat Invitational hosted by Sam Houston State University. The Red & Gray will battle Sam Houston and Portland on Friday, August 25, and Oral Roberts on Saturday, August 26.
 
Nicholls will start September in Nacogdoches, Texas taking on Stephen F. Austin, Southern Miss, and Cal Poly in a tournament hosted by SFA.
 
The following weekend, the Red & Gray will travel to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to compete in the Southern Miss Invitational. The Colonels will play Mississippi Valley State and Southern Miss on Friday, Sept. 8, and play Alcorn on Saturday, Sept. 9.
 
Nicholls will complete the non-conference slate in Lafayette at the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Volleyball Classic hosted by Louisiana. The Colonels will battle UL on Thursday, Sept. 14, and Prairie View A&M on Friday, Sept. 15.
 
The Red & Gray will begin Southland Conference regular season action in the home opener against Houston Christian on Thursday, Sept. 21.
 
The Colonels will honor the seniors in the final home game of the season against New Orleans on Thursday, Nov. 9. The Southland Conference Tournament will be in Corpus Christi, Texas the week of Nov. 16.
